Some of the most treasured members of our family are the girls who have officially retired from raising puppies.
Meet Poppy Lou, Harper Jane, and Bexley Ann! Each of these special girls has played a part in our story, and although their puppy-raising days are behind them, their adventures at Exquisite Okie are far from over.
Retirement around here means enjoying the good life, being spoiled, and continuing to be the beloved family members they've always been!
Meet Bexley Ann! 🐾
At 9 years young, Bexley Ann is the undisputed queen of Exquisite Okie, and she has absolutely no intention of giving up her crown!
Bexley has been with me since she was just five weeks old, and let's just say she's spent those years making sure everyone knows who's in charge.
She has her own pillow in bed, her own pillow in the living room, and pretty much everything else exactly the way she likes it. Around here, Bexley doesn't follow the rules. She makes them!
Her favorite toy is a tennis ball, but she's not particularly interested in sharing. In fact, she hides her tennis balls from everyone so she can enjoy a private game of fetch whenever the mood strikes.
Retirement suits our little queen perfectly. She's earned her throne, her pillows, and every bit of the royal treatment she receives!
Meet Harper Jane! 🐾
If love could be measured in hugs, Harper Jane would be the richest girl in the world!
At 8 years old, Harper is our resident love bug, and her mission in life is simple: collect as many hugs as humanly possible.
She's happiest when she's soaking up affection, and she never misses an opportunity for a little extra love.
Harper has a special way of reminding us that sometimes the very best part of the day is simply slowing down for a hug.
Her puppy-raising days may be behind her, but she's still working full-time as Exquisite Okie's official hug collector. And honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way!

At 6 years old, this beautiful Golden Retriever is spoiled beyond belief, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
Poppy recently retired from raising puppies, but she's certainly not retiring from being one of the most loved members of Exquisite Okie.
One of her greatest talents? Catching popcorn! Toss a piece her way, and she's ready to show off her impressive snack-catching skills. Of course, she's also more than happy to help make sure no popcorn goes to waste!
Poppy has a special place in my heart, and now that her puppy-raising days are behind her, I'm looking forward to watching her enjoy every moment of her next chapter.
She's my girl, my popcorn-loving companion, and one very spoiled Golden Retriever!
